Extract data from emails and PDFs, then let Power Automate run
Power Automate moves data between Microsoft apps. It cannot read a scanned invoice or a messy email on its own. Parseur is the Power Automate OCR and email parser that fills that gap: its built-in AI extracts the fields you name from any email, PDF, or scan, then triggers your flow through the official Parseur connector. No template per layout, no regex.
-
Scanned invoices to Excel or Dynamics
Parseur reads supplier invoices and receipts, scanned or native, and extracts vendor, date, totals, and line items. Your flow adds a row to Excel or a record in Dynamics 365 for every invoice.
-
Outlook emails to a SharePoint list
Parseur captures the fields buried in order confirmations, support requests, and web form notifications that land in Outlook. Each email becomes a new item in your SharePoint list.
-
Purchase orders to any Microsoft app
Parseur extracts PO number, buyer, delivery date, and every line from purchase orders that arrive in a different layout from each customer. Power Automate routes the data to SQL Server, Teams, or an approval flow.
How the Power Automate integration works
-
1. Create your Parseur mailbox
- Sign up and get a dedicated email address where your documents land.
-
2. Forward your emails
- Send emails manually or set up auto forwarding so every new one arrives on its own.
-
3. AI extracts the data
- Parseur reads each email and pulls out the fields you need as structured data.
-
4. Data lands in Power Automate
- Parseur pushes the parsed data straight to Power Automate in real time with the native integration.

What is Parseur?
Parseur is a powerful document processing software to extract text from emails, PDFs and documents and automate your workflow. All Parseur features.

What is Power Automate?
Power Automate is a cloud-based system that enables you to create automated workflows across different applications. Just like Zapier, with Power Automate, you can send, process, and receive data from Microsoft applications like Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, Dynamics 365, SQL Server and others.
Trusted for native integrations in production
Emonkey, an integration platform for accounting systems across Scandinavia, receives client documents by email and pushes the extracted data straight into automation workflows, the same real-time push the Parseur connector for Power Automate uses. Founder Piet Deprez has run Parseur in production for years without a single outage.
- Downtime incidents across years of Emonkey production use
- Zero
- Documents processed by Parseur since 2016
- 100M+
- Parseur rating on Capterra and GetApp
- 5/5
Parseur is integrated with Power Automate (formerly known as Microsoft Flow), one of the best workflow automation tools for enterprise. This integration enables you to connect to hundreds of applications and services.
As an AI parsing tool, Parseur enables you to extract specific data and export it to any application of your choice.
Popular features of Power Automate
Power Automate is packed with features to handle the most complex workflows:
- Connected to most Microsoft applications: Office 365, SharePoint, Outlook, Excel, SQL Server, Azure services, Dynamics CRM, Dynamics NAV, and Salesforce
- Connected to hundreds more third-party applications and services
- Multi-step workflows
- Approval workflows (workflow gets on hold until somebody reviews and approves the request)
- Conditional workflows based on business data or logic
- Data transformations (compose, join, select, filter, etc.)
Benefits of an AI parser integration with Power Automate
As an official connector of Power Automate, Parseur enables you to send extracted data from documents such as emails or PDFs to any Microsoft products.
Some of the popular scenarios in which our customers send data to Power Automate:
- Create an item in a SharePoint List from data received by email
- Add information to Dynamics CRM from lead mails
- Send emails from an Outlook mailbox to Parseur for text extraction
- Trigger complex workflows based on data received from PDFs
- Push purchase order data into Power Automate from PDFs that arrive in a different layout from every buyer
Say goodbye to manually copying and pasting text from documents to Microsoft applications!
With Power Automate integration, you can be sure to save countless hours of manual tasks while improving the automation processes within your business.
We also use Microsoft Azure; the cloud computing service of Microsoft to host some of our operations.
Step 1: Setup your Parseur mailbox
Before you can use this integration, sign up for a Power Automate account, and create your account on Parseur. Unlike other PDF parsers, with zero coding knowledge, you can use AI for various industries such as Mortgage Leads, Real Estate, or Job Search, among others.
Parseur is Point & Click!
For this integration article, we'll take the example where you want to extract data from your emails in Microsoft Outlook and send that parsed data to Power Automate. Follow our guide on how to teach Parseur on which specific data needs to be extracted from your Outlook emails.

Step 2: Send data extracted by Parseur to Power Automate
Once your template has been created based on the data extraction process, you can export the parsed email data to Power Automate. Click on "export" and "MS Flow"

If you do not have a configured flow yet, Parseur will prompt you to create a flow. You will be redirected to your Power Automate account.
Since this is your first flow, click on My flows > New > Automated - from blank

Give the Flow a name and choose the trigger by typing "Parseur" in the search box

You will need to link to your Parseur account if this is your first flow. You can find the API key in your Parseur account.

Once your Parseur account is connected, you can then choose your Parseur mailbox; the one where you will export parsed data to Power Automate.

Step 3: Send parsed data to any application integrated with Power Automate
From there, you will be able to connect with thousands of applications and send over the extracted data via automated flows.

Power Automate vs Logic Apps vs Power Apps
The differences between those services are based on their environments that they are used from. As mentioned earlier in our article, Power Automate is focused on providing an experience within Office 365. Azure Logic Apps enables you to build complex and automated workflows with more advanced integrations. Power Apps are well suited for those who want to create custom apps and solutions for their business with low code.
Power Automate
- Provide an experience for end users within Office 365
- Perfect for simple workflows
- Browser based designer
- Can be configured in a mobile app
Azure Logic Apps
- Used by developers, system admins or IT Pros
- Provide more complex workflows with advanced integrations
- Browser based and visual designer
You can learn more about the differences between Power Automate and Logic Apps in the documentation.
Power Apps
