Step 1: Create your free Parseur mailbox

Select Custom emails (default) or Custom emails and attachments if you need to extract data from documents attached to emails (for example, sales orders generated on your Shopify store or purchase orders for your vendors).

Step 2: Forward Shopify orders to your mailbox
Let’s take the case where you use the purchase order tool from Shopify to generate a purchase order for one of your vendors.
Once you receive the PO in your mailbox, you need to extract specific data from it and insert it in Google sheets so that your team can have access to those details as well.
Go to your personal mail inbox and forward one of your orders to your Parseur mailbox.
Note: for best results, we recommend you forward your emails from your original email client (Gmail, Yahoo, etc.) and not from your phone or desktop email client (Apple Mail, Outlook, etc).
Step 3: Create a template to extract Shopify order data
You do not need to create parsing rules for the data extraction process. Highlight the data that you need and create data fields for them.

Step 4: Export the parsed order data to your favorite application

Like we mentioned above, you can send the extracted data to Google sheets.
Click on “export” on the left-hand side of your mailbox and click on “Google sheets”
All you have to do is click on “new spreadsheet” and copy the formula there. Those formulas will automatically send the data to the Google spreadsheet.
Since there are tables and rows in our template, we will use the second formula.
And, you will see that the data has appeared automatically which will be refreshed every hour and so.
With the integration of Zapier, you can send out the data to any application of your choice (a CRM tool, project management tool). Zapier makes it easy to connect applications together without relying on developers.
