Create a PDF from a template in CraftMyPDF
In our previous integration article, we showed you how to create a document in Google Docs from a template parsed by Parseur.
Now, let’s see how to instantly create a PDF from a parsed template and upload it to Google Drive.
To use this integration, you will need:
- A Parseur account with a configured mailbox
- A CraftMyPDF account
- A Zapier account
- A Google Drive account

How to create a PDF from a template processed by Parseur
Step 1: Set up your Parseur account and mailbox
If you don't have an account, sign up for Parseur and opt for the AI-assisted mailbox creation.
Step 2: Upload your document and confirm the mailbox
For this integration, we’ll upload an invoice for data extraction. Once Parseur receives the document, verify your mailbox type and mailbox name.

Step 4: Prepare your PDF template in CraftMyPDF
Use CraftMyPDF’s template editor to design the PDF document. You can include text, images, tables, and other design elements to match your needs. Click on “manage template” and “new PDF template.”
This template will be used to generate PDFs based on the data parsed by Parseur.
Step 5: Connect Parseur with Zapier
Select Parseur as your trigger app in Zapier. Choose “New Document Processed” as the trigger event. Connect your Parseur account and select the mailbox you created earlier.
Step 6: Connect CraftMyPDF with Zapier
Choose CraftMyPDF as the action app. Select the "Create PDF" action event.
Connect your CraftMyPDF account and select the template you designed. Map the parsed data from Parseur to the corresponding fields in your CraftMyPDF template.
Step 7: Test the Zap template
Once the fields are mapped, test the Zap between Parseur and CraftMyPDF.
Step 8: Upload the PDF to Google Drive (Optional)
You’ll notice that the link that Zapier provides expires quickly. You can add this step as a second action to your Zap.
Choose Google Drive as the action app. Select the "Upload File" action event.
Choose the folder where you want the PDF to be saved. Map the generated PDF file from the CraftMyPDF step to the "File" field in Google Drive.
Test the Zap to ensure the integration works as expected. Parseur should extract the data, generate a PDF in CraftMyPDF, and automatically upload the resulting file to Google Drive.
