What is employee survey data capture?

Snap Surveys and QuestionPro build the survey, print it and scan it back, which works well if you are happy to author every questionnaire inside their tool. The catch is that the form has to be one they generated. Questionnaires your team already designed, or ones that arrive from a partner organisation, sit outside the workflow.
Dedicated paper survey scanning tools
PaperSurvey.io and classic optical mark recognition packages like Remark Office OMR are purpose-built for questionnaire scanning and paper survey data capture, and they are good at it. They also tend to expect a defined layout per form and a fixed field map, and OMR in particular expects bubbles at known coordinates.
