Connect the MCP server
- 1 In your client, add a remote MCP server and enter the server URL. The transport is Streamable HTTP.
- 2 Sign in to Parseur when prompted. Parseur uses OAuth 2.1 with PKCE and lets clients register themselves, so there is no client ID to request.
- 3 Approve access. Your agent can now use Parseur's tools.

Get files to the agent
Agents that can run shell commands upload files from your computer themselves. They create an upload link, send the file to the right Parseur mailbox, then read the extracted data. Chat apps without a shell can send files at a public URL or email text instead.
- Each upload link works for one upload, which can hold several files, and expires after 60 minutes by default.
- Files at a public URL, and email text pasted into the chat, need no upload link.
- Every Parseur mailbox has its own email address, so you can also forward documents to it.
Try these prompts
Paste one into the chat and let the agent pick the tools.
Create a Parseur mailbox for supplier invoices that extracts the vendor, invoice number, date, total and line items.
Send the invoice at https://example.com/invoice.pdf to my Parseur invoices mailbox and show me what Parseur extracted.
Give me an Excel download of everything my invoices mailbox has extracted.
Check it works
